Save the forests from the fire with the help of water-tanks
The aftermath of the wildfires is so dire that almost any mess compared to this seems like a joke.
For example, if there are multi-ton water tanks in the forest (which we somehow bolted there, preferably legal :)) Let these tanks stand 50 meters apart, each with 10 tons of water.
If something like this had happened in the Australian Koalai forests on the eve of the recent Koalai Apocalypse, it would be possible to save all that. Of course, you would need long hoses of 50-70 meters, or slightly shorter – 25-30 meters in the presence of “receivers” – auxiliary tanks of liters of 40 or 100.
For environmental reasons, you can even refrain from using pumps. It is enough for the tanks to be installed vertically and equipped with the appropriate hose connection equipment.
In too dry weather, preventive watering can be done.
So the important question is how to keep enough water in the tanks
And, the optimum answer is to create a road network for tanker trucks (preferably electric vehicles) that should support the water level of the tanks.
SUCH AN UNPLEASANT PICTURE IS STILL MUCH BETTER AND SAFER THAN THE FIRE DISASTER OF THE AUSTRALIAN FORESTS.
And recently, the Chernobyl forests have been burning because of the drought, and the idea descend upon me – when drought occured, we should scatter small containers of water (bottles of 6 liters) in a potentially dangerous place.
And then firemen can quickly fill a larger container(volume of 100 liters). Also may be applied a pneumatic pump to point water torrent at the flame.
